Travel plan progress
Enjoying some vitamin C and resting heart rate. And a little fiddling since it is a long time to just sit and exist.
Easter vacation has started. I discovered that when we were downtown shopping yesterday. A lot of people were in my stores at the same time as me! This time I was actually prepared for it. Because I have learned. So I went, knowing that there would be chaos. I wrapped myself in self-confidence, sharp elbows, and a – I am just as worthy and have the right to be here too – attitude. It was fantastic! So, this morning was spent on the sunny side of the house. When the sun no longer shone on our patio we went inside.
That is when the progress happened. We booked some hotels and domestic airfare. So now we have nailed even more commitments. I can feel more uncertainty creeping in. I was totally exhausted after a weekend in the ski jump arena. So, what will happen when I am going to be shuffling through strangers in large, unfamiliar cities, with no safe harbor to come home to every night!? What if I only endure one week before I am exhausted? Because I am not very nice when I am tired…But we have a little plan. We plan for it to be ok for me to demand some time to rest up. Even if it is not very convenient. Not that I will refuse to get on a plane and other things that can’t be changed, but that I can request takeout dinner in the hotel room, or a 15-minute break before we head back out. Morten is prepared for this, and I have promised not to abuse it. Even though that would probably be cool now and then.
Anyway, we are a little closer to departure. Nerves come and go. The butterflies multiply. I manage things I have never done before. Like finding a recipe and calculating values right there in the store. And bring home the right things! And I was actually able to stand on my head. It is irrelevant, but still crazy fun for me!
Sun and moon at the same time! Took the pictures at the same time and place. Just turned around. Nature 😍🤩
This will be a super spring and summer. And a fantastically exciting trip!
Happy Easter folks 🐣
